The use of PBL at Master's Programmes (Part time Programmes)

The PBL Academy would like to invite all interested colleagues to a seminar on "The use of PBL at Master's Programmes" (Part time Programmes)

Time

22.11.2019 kl. 13.00 - 15.30

Description

the use of pbl at master's programmes (part time programmes)

At Aalborg University PBL is used as the general, pedagogical formula for all the educational programmes, no matter the level or type in question. Although it is common knowledge, that the Master’s Programmes hold some important and interesting differences compared to other programmes, when it comes to the students' prerequisites, pre-conditions and even their motivation to participate in the studies.

At this seminar we want to set focus on some of these differences, with a special interest regarding the consequences they should have for the design of the pedagogical strategies used in the study.

PLEASE NOTE, THAT THE FOCUS OF THE SEMINAR IS PART TIME MASTER'S PROGRAMMES - "CONTINUING EDUCATION" - NOT FULL TIME POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES OFFERED AT AAU.
